after spending an hour, roaming venice, trying to figure out how to buy a bus ticket, we finally got on a bus.
eventually we arrived at our quaint, little hotel, Villa dori.
the surrounding neighborhood is really nice too.
people have gardens and hang their clothes out to dry.
soon after, lauren, aunt jan and i went over to the island for some dinner.
we walked around for a bit, but had to come home to get some rest.
on the walk back to our hotel, we had a nice little surprise. this was the best part of my trip yet.
