i've tried so hard to pretend that
there isn't a problem between berlin and i,
but i've come to accept the fact that berlin just doesn't like me.
i've never had problems with allergies before,
but since being here, i've probably sneezed 938479384793874029409374873 times.
and then, i woke up this morning with pink eye.
here's what i'm dealing with:
everywhere you walk, this pollen is blowing through the air
and attacking my sinuses.
but, berlin is worth it.
anyways, we all really enjoyed the show last night at friedrichstadtpalast.
you can see what it was like here.
today, was a free day.
some of the girls and i decided to check out some of the places we've been wanting to go to.
the first was garage, the largest second-hand clothing shop in all of europe.
then, cafe morgenrot, a local vegan restaurant.
i had the "vegan toast" with tomatoes, vegan mozzarella and other good stuff,
homemade noodle soup with vegetables in a coconut milk broth,
and some freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
this is the area surrounding the cafe, including a courtyard out back.
then, we stopped in to a small shop that had stuff from other countries.
the owner said she directly trades with the artisans.
i hope i can trust her word.
