and treat ourselves to a vegan brunch at cafe morgenrot.
they had tofu scramble, fresh fruit, a cheese platter, pesto pasta, sauteed vegetables, cereal, yogurt, bread, various vegan spreads and soymilk!on the way there, we stopped at a photobooth on the side of the road and took some photos.
we weren't prepared for the first one. the flash came way too quickly.
and i still have the same blinking problem that i've always had.
but, i guess photobooths never go as planned.
after brunch, lang spent some time photographing and interviewing
her photo subject.
then, we headed back to rigaer 105
so i could finish my stuff up with my photo subject, sam.
we hung out there for a while.
i took more pictures of sam and interviewed him a little.
i really like that place.
and i really like the the people that i have met there.
the fact that i have found so many places in berlin that could be home
and so many people that could be dear friends,
is a true blessing.
when i was finished, lang and i walked a little ways
to hot dog soup, a restaurant we had been dying to find.
they have vegan hot dogs!
they were delicious.
kind of reminds me of the downtown vegan hot dog stand. and of home.
